Sinélia nasceu em Brasília em 6 de dezembro de 1977. Fez faculdade de Letras – Português/Inglês, mestrado na University of Liverpool, Liverpool, Inglaterra e doutorado em Educacao na Salisbury University, Estados Unidos. É professora e pedagoga. Participou da Bienal do Livro 2015, do Circuito da Feira do Livro de Brasília 2016; e foi curadora da feira do livro de Brasília 2016, dando palestras e com seus livros à venda também. Sinélia gosta de escrever desde sempre. Quando adolescente, teve poemas publicados na escola onde estudava. Tem dois filhos, é divorciada e sabe bem o que as mulheres passam e sofrem nos dias de hoje, tendo que cuidar da casa, da família, de si mesmas e trabalhar fora ao mesmo tempo. Por Que Eu? é o primeiro livro da Trilogia do Eu (o único que foi publicado e está atualmente como independente), ganhador do prêmio ILBA – International Latino Book Award 2016 – escrito para a mulher atual, que é dona de si, trabalhadora, diva, mãe, batalhadora, forte, que enfrenta a vida com garra e que também pode ser romântica, não perde sua doçura, sua feminilidade e sua beleza interior, sua vontade de crescer, de ser melhor e de se conhecer cada vez mais. Sinélia was born in Brasília on December 6, 1977. She holds a degree in Portuguese/English Literature, a master's degree from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England, and a doctorate in Education from Salisbury University, United States. She is a teacher and educator. She participated in the 2015 Book Biennial, the 2016 Brasília Book Fair Circuit, and was a curator for the 2016 Brasília Book Fair, giving lectures and also selling her books. Sinélia has always enjoyed writing. As a teenager, she had poems published at her school. She has two children, is divorced, and knows well what women go through and suffer today, having to take care of the house, family, themselves, and work outside the home at the same time. "Why Me?" is the first book in the "I Trilogy" (the only one that has been published and is currently self-published), winner of the ILBA – International Latino Book Award 2016.Written for the modern woman, who is self-possessed, hardworking, a diva, a mother, a fighter, strong, who faces life with determination and who can also be romantic, without losing her sweetness, her femininity and her inner beauty, her desire to grow, to be better and to know herself more and more. These are books that show us that we can achieve anything with love and dedication; all it takes is willpower and the courage to assume our responsibilities to fight for something better.
